Moruya
Beaches, National Parks and forests are all within a few minutes drive from the town centre, there are approximately 20 beaches between Tomakin, Broulee, Moruya, Tuross Head and Potato Point. Surf clubs at Moruya and Broulee with special patrols at Tuross Head offering a safer swimming and surfing environment for all the family.
The river mouth provides a popular fishing spot and good surf breaks. We are lucky to have an active fishing industry and local fruit and vegetable producers, oyster farmers, excellent local beef and lamb farmers, local cheese and eggs, our food outlets make the most of these opportunities.
Tuross Head
Located just 13km South of Moruya is Tuross Head with its sweeping views over Coila Lake to the North, Tuross Lake to the South and the ocean to the East. Tuross Head is renowned for its beauty especially the Norfolk Pines, walking tracks and cycle ways. The village has a shopping centre, cafes and a Country Club. Fishing is excellent and so is surfing, riding, sailing, walking and swimming. Come to Tuross Head and enjoy the stunning natural beauty and you will love it.
